Event Terms
Last updated July 7, 2026 · Applies to all Builder Pub events and channels
- Builder Pub hosts hands-on AI workshops and community events in the San Francisco Bay Area. By registering for one of our events, you agree to these terms.
- When you register through Luma (or a similar platform), we receive the name and email you registered with, plus your answers to our registration questions. We also keep basic records of attendance, such as check-in at the venue.
- We use this information to run the event (check-in, headcounts, and logistics emails such as a reminder to bring your laptop), to invite you to future Builder Pub events and share community updates, and to understand what attendees want to learn so we can make the next session better.
- Our events are documented. By attending, you understand that you may appear in photos, video, and audio recorded during the session, and you consent to our use of this media and your name — without compensation — on the Builder Pub website, social media, event pages, community recaps, and in materials we share with venues and partners.
- If you'd prefer not to be featured individually, please let the organizer know before the event, and we'll make sure you're not featured. We may not be able to accommodate requests made after media has been captured or published.
- The project you build during the workshop is published under your own accounts and belongs entirely to you — you can change or unpublish it whenever you like.
- During and after the event, we may feature projects created or presented at the event on a showcase wall and in our community channels — typically your name, your project's name, a screenshot, and a link. By registering, you grant Builder Pub a non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to display your project this way. If you'd rather your project not be featured, tell a host during the event or contact us afterwards, and we'll remove it.
- Registration is handled by Luma, whose own privacy policy governs the data you enter there. Third-party tools you use during the workshop (for example, an AI coding agent and a hosting platform) are your own accounts, and each service's own terms and privacy policy apply.
- Attendees under 18 should register and attend with a parent or guardian's consent.
- If we update these terms, we'll post the new version here with a new "last updated" date. Questions? Reach us through our event pages at luma.com/builderpub.
